Penerus Jaga Laut Indonesia Foundation (PJLI) is an official institution established since 2022 and registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia. Starting from the spirit of Sekolah Pantai Indonesia Balikpapan, we are here to create real impact from the coast.
We work through five main pillars: maritime education, marine conservation, waste management, coastal community empowerment, and innovative research. By involving local communities as the front line, we believe big changes start from small consistent steps.
To be a leading organization in the sustainable preservation of Indonesia's marine ecosystem, with empowered and self-reliant coastal communities.
